Jesus Speaks

Jesus prays about you and me.

Did you Know that Jesus was thinking of you before he offered Himself up to die for the sins of the world? He was!  Listen to what Jesus prayed in John 17.  V:15-21 I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou should keepest them from evil. They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth. As thou hast sent me into the world, even so have I also sent them into the world. And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they also might be sanctified through the truth. Neither pray I for these alone, BUT FOR THEM ALSO WHICH SHALL BELIEVE ON ME THROUGH THEIR WORD; That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.  That prayer of Jesus is something, to think that Jesus was thinking of me, and you, and all the believers of our time. And people say he was just a man. What a joke that is.

Jesus speaks of Marriage:

Jesus spoke in Mark 10:3-12 to the Pharisees about marriage. The Pharisees were trying to tempt Jesus once again to try and trap Him on the Writ of Divorce.  Jesus told them that Divorce except for fornication was not acceptable. Jesus reffered to Scripture to rebuke the hypocrites. "But from the begining  of creation God made them male and female.  For this cause will a man leave his father and mother, and cleave(hold fast) unto his wife. And the twain(two) shall be made one flesh; so then they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put assunder."  And again He said "Whosoever shall put away his wife, and marry another, committeth adultary against her.  And if a woman shall put away her husband, and be marries to another, she committeth adultery."  God loves the marriage relationship, He established it. When we think that we as Christians can just divorce our spouses and marry again and again we deceive ourselves. God HATES divorce! Jesus gave us the exception that God will allow divorce. He doesn't say we should divorce but it is open to us. Jesus wishes us to be reconciled unto our spouse and work any problems out. Men, I need to point a finger. Many of the problems we have in marriage are our fault.  Not all but, many. When we neglect our wifes we cause them to look elsewhere for the affection or the relationship they once had with us. Examine your relationship and ask yourself some key questions:  Do I talk to my wife? I do not mean how was your day or whats for dinner?  I mean really talk.  Many relationships have been saved by a man opening his mouth in conversation. I say to women the same thing, often they can neglect their husbands causing them to seek the relationship elsewhere also.  Today, there are states that are trying to ruin the Sanctity of marriage by allowing same sex marriage. This is an outright Blasphemy of Gods Holy relationship. God destroyed Sodom and Gommorrah for this reason. Don't let anyone tell you it was because they were violent.  The main reason was because of the homosexual practices they engaged in.  If you read the account in Genesis 19, there were Angels of the Lord sent to Sodom to get Lot and his family and upon arrival, multiudes of the men came upon the house to force themselves on the Angels, they told Lot to bring them out so they could KNOW(have sex with) them. These wicked men wished to defile Gods Holy Angels. The Angels then made them blind and led Lot and his family out of that city.  Hold fast to Gods Sanctified Holy Marriage. Do not let go of what we have learned of God.  May the Lord richly bless you.
