Finding Peace When You Are Troubled

Isaiah 26:3,4 You will guard him and keep him in perfect and constant peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he commits himself on You, leans on you, and hopes confidently in You. So trust in the Lord forever; for the Lord God is an everlasting rock. (rock of ages) Psalm 4:8 In peace I will both lie down and sleep, for You, Lord, alone make me dwell in safety and confident trust. Psalm 29:11 The Lord will give strength to His people; The Lord will bless His people with peace. John 14:27 Peace I leave with you; My peace I now give and bequeath to you. Not as the world gives, do I give to you. Do not let your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid. Phillipians 4:6,7 Do not fret or have any anxiety about anything, but in every circumstance and in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, continue to make your requests known to God. And God's peace which transcends all understanding shall garrison and mount guard over your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. Matthew 6:25-34 Therefore I tell you, stop being perpetually uneasy about your life, what you shall eat or what you shall drink; or about your body, what you shall put on. Is not life greater than food, and the body than clothing? Look at the birds of the air they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father keeps feeding them. Are you not worth much more than they? And who of you by worrying and being anxious can add one unit of measure to his stature or to the span of his life? And why should you be anxious about clothes? Consider the lillies of the field and learn thoroughly how they grow; they neither toil nor spin. Yet I tell you, even Solomon in all his magnificense was not arrayed like one of these. But if God so clothes the grass of the field which today is alive and green and tomorrow is tossed into the furnace, will He not much more surely clothe you, oh you of little faith. Therefore do not worry and be anxious, saying, what are we going to have to eat? or, What are we going to have to drink? or What are we going to have to wear? For the Gentiles wish for and crave and diligently seek all these things, and your heavenly Father knows well that you need them all. But seek first of all His kingdom and His righteousness, and then all these things taken together will be given you besides. So do not worry or be anxious  about tomorrow for tomorrow will have worries and anxieties of it's own. Sufficient for each day is it's own trouble.  Psalm 91:1,2 He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall remain stable and fixed under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, He is my Refuge and my Fortress, my God; On Him I lean and rely, and in Him I trust!

I LOVE YOU! fervently and devotedly, O Lord, my Strength. The Lord is my Rock, my Fortress, and my Deliverer; my God, my keen and firm Strength in whom I will trust and take refuge, my Shield, and the Horn of my salvation, my High Tower. Psalm 18: 1,2

I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me. Phillippians 4:13
